Foot Stage
with MRSA in diabetic foot stage four what are the chances of survival?
traetments iv all have failed. what further treatment is available to me?
sorry to say but amputation is a course of action-the possibility of my father who experienced the same thing and the infection into the bone so that IV drug can not throw it away. I talked to consultants about the treatment options and there is no one else-he is now free of MRSA, has a false leg and just as mobile as before, I'm amazed at how quickly he adapts. good luck and talk to your consultant about what options are available to you-maybe just a small part of your legs that they can eliminate.
