Lag Using Native Instruments sound maschine?
I just got the original maschine Instruments and im having a little trouble. When I play a sound ... As the kick drum or whatever, it takes about half a second or so to come through on my speakers. That is really annoying. I would've hit the next pad to The next sound to play with while playing the first sound. Anyone know what might cause this ?????
It sounds like a latency problem. On the PC, the memory storing the music before playing again. The size of this part depends on the settings and processor speed, etc. You have to open the 'settings' on the software to see how to change it. But be warned, if it does not help (or you get up and crack in the sound), you should probably invest in a faster machine (with a much RAM as you can type 'latency' words into your search engine for more information ..
