Evan (Steve Carell) is a politician who works hard. I sincerely want to change the world for the better. Just before his first day at work, said a quick, asking God in prayer for the innocent to help "change the world". The rest of the film is in God's answer to prayer for Evan.

The movie Evan Almighty is loaded with spiritual truth. For example: God hears and answers prayer. Even better, God answers our prayers with divine extravagance.

God answers our prayers remain consistent with His eternal purposes. This fact tends to annihilate our own plans (how they prefer things on the outside). But this is a good thing, because God is ever smarter than us. For example, when trying to imagine how they could change the world, our minds are limited to small things like reforming government, fundraising and scientific advancement. But God is changing the world through spectacular, inside-out transformation. He brings the dead to life is healthy and ill becomes the evil plans for well. We can change our thinking and acting, but God changes our very nature.

Evan Almighty illustrates another truth that God teaches us how best to change the world if you ask for help. We will expand beyond our comfort zones and even our ability to understand what will make us useful for their purposes. The God's answer to prayer for Evan, for example, he felt more comfortable. When Evan obeyed God, became very unpopular among his colleagues, has been ridiculed by the press, almost destroyed his career and almost loses his family.

The writers of Evan Almighty has done a masterful job of adapting the Noah story in a modern American screenplay. They showed a complete absence of God, respect for the beautiful buildings and systems that human beings are so impressed. He was prophetic in his description of our wasteful American way of life against the natural beauty of God's creation.

The film also shows how, if trust God and obey him, he will work in every detail. Evan has given up his chance of success as a politician in favor of obeying God. Therefore God has helped make its work more effectively than has ever have imagined. Evan obeyed God, even if his family did not approve. God took the family Evan is more closer than ever. Evan has gone mad for all those who looked. Thanks to God's madness Evan demonstrated the brilliance of faith.

Evan Almighty has done a remarkable job for people think about God. What could Christians want? Surprisingly, there are conservatives (like James Dobson) who criticized the mainstream film unless openly Christian. This is spiritual myopia. The marketing of this film for conservative evangelicals (for example) would have been the worst thing that Evan Almighty officials could have done. It is spiritually strategic to expose the truth about God, religion without supplements. God will fulfill his own truth. Its cause is not helped our religious insecurities.
