Amp Road Case
Im going to build a road case for my equipment, i need any help i can get?

iv been researching alot lately and im just looking for some tips. Im building a case for my VHT deliverence 4X12 guitar cab. I am also planning on just going all out and making it a case for my peavey 6505 amp head and the cab in one. Iv gotten a lsit of all the materials, i have a pretty good idea on the steps i need to take. I am going to install the casters on the side of it so i can roll it laying on the ground, it will be more space efficient in the trailor that way. If anyone has build thier own or works for a company who builds costom cases, give me some knowledge on this here.
thanks alot

I hate to tell you this but it is MUCH cheaper to buy custom cases. Once you get into the cost of the neoprene foam and heavy duty hinges corners, casters, and locks not to mention the framework you have invested double what it would cost just to buy them ready-made. On top of that, if you fly, your stuff wouldn't be flight certified so if any damages occur the equipment wouldn't be covered.

Learned this the hard way.
